I studied preclinical medicine for two years at the University of Cambridge, where I studied zoology as part of my bachelor's degree. I was also a clinical medical student at University College London, where I worked with patients and doctors in local teaching hospitals.
Experience
I have been a private tutor in Melbourne since 2016 (and tutored in London before that), with experience in high school to VCE level subjects. Familiar with math, English, and science curricula, I tailor my teaching methods based on those used in students' classes. I am also familiar with the challenges of a new curriculum, as there's little material to work with such as past papers and test questions. I can help build knowledge of previous topics and determine what has changed to help the student the most. Areas I can help in include the university application process, along with persuasive writing techniques, as well as math (including algebra and basic mathematical principles), biology, chemistry, physics, and preparation for medical school entrance exams (including practice with timed essay writing).

Hobbies
I'm an active, outgoing and friendly person. I have a strong passion for comedy, attending festivals and stand up events. I'm a big believer that everything can be made fun! Another strong passion of mine is animals. I have two adorable cats, called Sherlock and Mycroft whom I show photos of to most people. I'm also a keen squash player, and was Women's Squash Captain for University College London, competing in events across the country.
